ESDN provides rich features realted to GIS.
(1) On-line Data Integrity and Security:
• Data is presented in terms of Raster so Spatial Data is secure.
• Only Authorised Users can view Data.
• Only Authorised Users can update Data.
• Data is Properly Organized to maintain its integrity.
(2) Amount of Data Presentation:
• As Data is presented in terms of Raster so a large amount of data can be presented.
(3) Additional Data Access:
• Authorised User can view the additional Information of Particular Object.
• Authorised User can update the additional Information of Particular Object.
(4) Data Organization:
• Data is properly organized in Hierarchy. Data Sets -> Layers -> Objects.
• Every Member can control the Layers, Data in Layers, Data sets and Layers in Data sets.
(5) Data Presentation:
• Data is presented as Layers.
• Each Layer has its own Presentation features which are customised by Member administrator.
• The Layer Presentation can be customized with respect to Zoom Level (i-e different color Scheme for different zooms)
